New Zealand's first Fear Free certified canine massage and rehab practitioner; based in Christchurch since 2008. I chose to study Canine Fitness with the University of Tennessee because I focus on wellness and injury prevention rather than simply 'fixing' dogs who have been injured. In-home care is my specialty because dogs are more comfortable in their own home, owners are too, and I am able to suggest exercises that are easy to manage - maximising the ability of clients to achieve what is needed for their dog's care. I offer laser, acupressure, PEMF, TCM massage and food therapy, exercise therapy, workshops for owners (including a special greyhound massage and stretching workshop), and stock niche products for sale.
I'm a columnist for NZ Dog World magazine and Pet Life NZ Magazine and my work has featured in the book Animals in Emergencies. In 2021, accounting software company Xero featured me in a Customer Stories campaign called The Business of Dog Massage.
